New Challenge at TIME OUT!

Hi friends!
We have a new challenge for you at TIME OUT Challenges:

Birthdays with the Optional Technique Twist of Sponging

The challenge is sponsored by Uniko Studios: if you choose to twist and use sponging in your project, you could win a 15 pounds voucher to Uniko store. Great prize, right!

In my card I've used die cut flowers by My Favorite Things (colored with Copics), a die cut Stamping Up leaf (also colored with Copics + coated with Wink of Stella) on a die cut tag. The sentiment (this stamp company does unfortunately not exist anymore) is heat embossed with white powder on vellum. I've also stamped the background strip with a woodgrain bg stamp. My New Year's resolution is to start seriously playing with my bg stamps, I use them way too little! I quite like the navy blue-purple color palette I chose for this card. No sponging though so my card is without the twist!

Do head on over to  TIME OUT Challenges blog for more DT inspiration. Our guest designer this time is the very inspiring and talented Rema. Play along and you could end up guest designing for us too! Happy crafting!

  1. Such a pretty card, I love the woodgrain strip and these colours. I have bg stamps I need to use more too as I tend to use embossing folders. Cathy x
